During an intensive three day work session that took place in Bucharest on 5-7 of July 2019, 15 members from the Smart eHub refined the Digital Innovation Hub’s business model and business plan with the support of DIHELP coaches. Besides topics related to the business model such as value proposition, governance model and financial plan, specific digitalization challenges faced by Bucharest-Ilfov and South Muntenia regions and the best way to address those were examined.

These in-depth discussions benefited from the inputs of a stakeholder workshop held the 5th of July 2019. During this meeting, some 40 representatives of local SMEs, Ministry of European Funds and Agencies for Regional Development Bucharest-Ilfov and South Muntenia, shared their views on the significant role that Smart eHub should play in the digital transformation process in the two regions.

The Romanian Digital Innovation Hub will now develop of an in-depth sustainable business model in the coming months. The DIHELP Academy will continue to support this process, through regular consultations and webinars on the most relevant topics for the DIH.
