Call open for expression of interest

The DIHs were invited to send their expression of interest.

Closure of the call

The call for expression of interest closed on the 23 January 2019 – 17:00 CET.

January – February

Evaluation of expressions of interest

All applications were evaluated by two evaluators. The evaluation was based on the criteria set out in the guide for applicants. Each selection criterion were weighted accordingly and a threshold of 12 is required – with a minimum score of 3 for each criterion.

February

Communication of the results

All applicants, whether successful or unsuccessful, received a notice on the outcome of the evaluation and their evaluation summary report.

March – November

DIH Academy: coaching and mentoring

As part of the DIH Academy, the selected DIHs receive mentoring and coaching on business development, financing and innovation management delivered both face-to-face and remotely for a time duration of 9 months. The coaching and mentoring programme is setting up a sector-specific business plan for the digital innovation hubs to support the digital transformation of industry.

20-22 of March

DIH Academy kick-off conference

The DIH Academy started with a 3-day kick-off conference gathering all participating DIHs in Brussels on from the 20 to 22 March 2018.

Final meeting during the Stakeholder Forum 2019 in Madrid
