The DIH Enhanced-Learning Programme is organising a series webinars on DIHs best practices. Best practices webinars will give the opportunities to well-established DIHs to share their best practices on specific topics to help other DIHs to develop themselves and to avoid failure. These peer-learning sessions are open to everyone.

The upcoming webinar on 28 May at 10:00 will be focused on how to successfully engage regional stakeholders.

For this webinar, we welcome:

  • Michael Kaiser from the Smart Systems Hub based in Dresden, Germany. The Smart Systems Hub Dresden is part of the Germany-wide Digital Hub Initiative (de:hub initiative) initiated by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi).

In Germany, the Smart Systems Hub Dresden is one of the central enablers of the upcoming future field “Internet of Things” (IoT). The hub and its partners develop, produce and market as a one-stop shop that brings together the existing services of the future field “Smart Systems” from intelligent components and algorithms to smart machines and systems.

Mr Kaiser will present the thin[gk]athon, an event organised by the DIH that gathers regional stakeholders to work together for 4 days.

  • Thor Arne Håverstad from the Ocean Technology DIH based in Kristiansand, Norway. DIH OTN enables any interested business to test and experiment with digital innovations relevant to its products, process and/ or business models. The DIH also has a special focus on how these businesses can be an addition towards the new ocean market.

Mr. Håverstad will present the DIH ecosystem and the ways of collaborations with regional stakeholders.

Both presentations will start with a general presentation of the DIH and will be followed by their best practices on how to engage regional stakeholders.
