The 11 – 13 June saw an intensive three days of working sessions at the site of DIH-IMI in Brandenburg, Germany. During the first two days, five members of IMI undertook an in-depth review of their business model, supported by the DIHelp coaches. The team not only honed their value propositions for SMEs, discussed the potentials for new partnerships, but considered also how to further develop the value the DIH can bring to the region itself.

This work resonated well with regional actors during the stakeholder workshop on 13 June. IMI invited approximately 30 representatives from local SMEs, government bodies, and chambers of commerce to their site. It was an excellent occasion with fruitful discussions challenging the status quo with regards to the level of digitization in the Brandenburg region, and coming up with concrete suggestions for improvements. It became clear that IMI could play a central role in the region’s digital development.

In the coming months, IMI plans to continue developing its Business Plan with the support of their DIHelp coaches, participating in regular webinars and utilizing the DIHelp E-Learning tools.
