MADE – the Digital Innovation Hub in Copenhagen, Denmark, held their annual conference on “World Class Manufacturing in Denmark”.

Opening of MADE’s annual conference by Morten Buhl-Sørensen, Chairman of MADE

The programme illustrated MADE’s strategic goals of strengthening Danish manufacturing through industrial based research and of driving the digital transformation of the Danish manufacturing industry. It also demonstrated MADE’s impressive achievements in connecting all stakeholders in the eco-system: manufacturing companies – small and big ones – research institutions and PhD students focusing on industrial manufacturing research topics, consultants, and media.

Merete Nørby, PhD., International Chief Consultant, MADE, and Amanda Koppel, International Project Consultant, MADE sharing knowledge with participants of the MADE Annual Conference regarding opportunities to gain further help/knowledge regarding digitizing manufacturing

The speakers and the topics represented a broad range of industrial manufacturing challenges. Presentations by practitioners and their key learnings when going on the digital journey stimulated the discussion on the do’s and don’ts in digitization of manufacturing. About 200 participants attended the conference to learn from experience in both small and big companies.
